@coachdcj Player 2 is correct. From the Official Rules Clarifications document (page 4):
You can never give an ally anything: units, territories or I.P.C.'s.

I was fighting Japan i sent bombers to Wake Island I killed all troops there all that was left was a bomber. When I clicked retrea button I couldn’t leave battle. I could only retreat to the place I was attacking. So I continue to fight an army of nothing i had to quit game. This has happened to me twice. Makes it very hard to play. :x

Yeah, there are a number of bugs like that (continuing a fight even though all opponent’s units are dead). Have you at least download the patch for the game?

There are many places to download it. But try going to Axis and Allies.com or Hasbro.com. If not, run a search for it and I’m sure it’ll pop up.

Downloaded patch still experiancing problem. I save after every turn now.

Always save every turn. If you get bugged, just go to your old saved file and use the edit units function to correct it.
