G39 OLD MAP vs NEW MAP

Hello,
  I am sure many of you out there like me have the first Ed Global 1939 map.  I LOVE IT!!  I wouldn’t trade it in for anything!!!

I know there were many “asthetic” changes to the map.  Here are my main questions:

1. What specific territory changes were made in in the new one?
2. Will the old map still work with the New rules?
3. Will HBG continue to sell / support the origional Map?

i thought there was no difference except that europe has been made bigger and africa smaller. Other then that the borders and territorries and sea zones are the same. No?

Correct, and in addition to that:

Better artwork on Convoy Boxes.
Airfield and ports omitted for your own house rules locations.
Cleaner roundels in territories.
Great looking Logo.
Better looking Fonts.

and yes…the new rules will work with old map. The new map is just a better looking map…and it is!
Europe, England, and Japan are larger.
Same seazones and territories.

On the old map there was an airbase on Guam.The new map, as mentioned features no bases. Thing is, there is no airbase for Guam in the 4.1 set-up. Will there be 5.0 set-up charts?
