@The_Good_Captain The rule applies in all sea battles where there are sea units allied to the attacker present, regardless of the type(s) of defending German sea units. The rule mentions only German subs because the author failed to take into account the possibility that the situation could also exist with German surface units if they were mobilized in a hostile sea zone. This oversight was corrected in the Axis & Allies Pacific Rulebook.

hey as Germany i have only ever taken over Moscow, I almost took over Britain but then America came in so i just took over Moscow, can you give me some tips on wut i should build to take britain.
-
Build infantry. USA can never take it back.
-
The only time I took Britain as Germany was when I saved all my money one round and the next round I dropped a 84ip navy with the navy I was slowly building up the whole game.
Allies really couldn’t figure out what I was doing by not buying anything.
They just thought that I was going to buy a shit load of infantry.
What I’m saying is that it was a surprise.
I dont think it will fool them again.
After all that I was still lucky to win.
I had one tank in Britain after the battle.
The Americans had one transport with 2 infantry to counter attack with
I lost the tank by I hit the last man on the way out. -
