  • Vold - @ Hawaii, I took your order of loss as 1/2 carrier, Kill Carrier 1, Kill BS.  And you got hot dice as the defender. Your planes could not defend against the subs and your aircraft carriers scored hits on 2 or under in both rounds.  Had you taken a 1/2 hit against a second carrier - to save the Battleship, you would have lost a fighter since it cannot land and is only allowed a move of one to retreat post combat.  Though you “won” in Hawaii, I think Japan gave up a great deal of strength, does not actually control Hawaii (which is only worth a dollar and breaks the same bonus that holding Phillippines does) and your ships are not at a naval base, so long way back to the fight.  I also wiped out your two naked transports at Sea of Japan with a Strat. If you wanted a different OOL, let me know and we can edit, but I did it the way that would maximize the battle for you (ie - had you taken carrier hits, I, as attacker, could have withdrawn. Planes can’t land, so sunk…have seen that move in board games…I honestly did what was in your best interests and not mine since I moved…)
