Not so fast…  I still managed to disable all but one carrier and ground all the air except 2 on New Guinea.  I only lose the 2 aircraft that were committed, and have a built in block in Z54.

my vibes were more on the line that the axis are evil thus luck should abandon them… but obviously this is just a game and not historical, moral commentary

none the less, I feel for you.  We’ve all been on the recieving end.  Althought I will say, after 20 years of A&A naval battles can be very squirly, especailly when the defender had a lot of ftrs.  Shipyards now looks like a salvation more then an advantage.  Japan survives to fight on, I guess.

Felt like a game ender, but when I survey it looks like USA/ANZ might still be able to survive.
Disabling 3 carriers for 2 turns is huge.  I need to see if I can take a stand in the Carolines now, too
