The main thing I don’t like is USA ground units going the wrong direction in Europe, and Britain is a little low on manpower to do Turkey. But I don’t like having air units sitting around doing nothing (one reason playing Japan drives me nuts), so…
I’ve never really considered controlling a lot of the neutrals, but when you look at it…
WOW is Spain strategic!!! And Turkey allows you to go into the Black Sea - look out.

But in my experience with P40, taking and holding one by Japan is very difficult. Maybe you will show me how it’s done. You are very good at this game - if you weren’t you would have given up by now! :-D -
