    Well, I am severly lacking in naval skill with the German & Japanese fleets. I have a hell of a lot to learn on that front. Also, America is so big & brutal, I just don’t see how any Axis player can best them on any field. They’re a force to be reckoned with.


  • I’m getting sloppy - could you edit my 3 fighters and tac from London to the US fleet above Norway?

    And the dice gods have been cruel - I had to edit off a fighter in the Norway battle and place an artillery, FYI… you got 4 hits in your two rounds of combat, and in my haste I clicked the button to lose the units, when I needed to take the territory…

    Yes - the US is tough… it comes down to an early kill (turns 7-10) for the Axis being the way, or the US becomes a beast. But this game is very far from over.

    Your German fleet did cost me three aircraft, the ability to collect an extra 5 for Russia, and the potential that you’ll take Novgorod anyhow and kill three more fighters… something gained, something lost.

    Oh, I’m not complaining. I just see the US and I shudder, as surely as the actual German high commanders must have. They’re a very difficult power to deal with as the Axis and I find them difficult to play as the Allies. But, practice makes perfect.

    I’ll gladly edit your aircraft. And thank you again for editing my lone Japanese sub. He is the lynch pin in my key to dominating the Indian Ocean. He will henceforth be refered to as Godzilla.
