Sent you an email.
I played a couple of joint games without special rules. At first we discussed any change, for example joint victory points but because we just couldn’t predict what would happen we just started playing. The only problem was it took such an enormous log time to play, but we hust let America spend 115 IPC’s And choose where to deploy it or to split it. We have only played one game so far so I can not say how these things will go and if their balanced but we sure had a great time.
If anybody else has any good ideas about this sort of thing just let me know.

Well there are a few unoffical rules for combining the two A&A games. Just go to http://www.wargamer.com/axisandallies/europe/AAE-AAP-combined/aae-aap_combined_MAIN.html
to check them out.
Also have any of you guys heard of the new board game Napoleon in Europe? I think it’s coming out in April and it’s shaping up to be one heck of a game. I think that Hasbro/Avon Hill can leard a thing or two on Eagle Games battle system.
Eagle games make tight board gamess. I have the Civil War game its great fun. It adds a different element to the war game genre.
