    Man it seemed so logical that horse artillery supports horses and normal artillery supports infantry… I would have had way more dragoons instead.

    Why didn’t anyone tell me what the hell? Like “hey Cow you know you have lots of horse artillery but no inf, what gives?” I would be like, “they support the horses right?” Then you be like, “no.”

    man screw you all, I only trust spain now. Obviously he is the ocean guy so he probably didn’t know.

    I am going to take austria at 94% odds still… even though I could have had like 20 pus worth of crap on it if these horse artillery were something else. you guys are sick.

    here is how “support” works in this game (and in 99% of triplea games)

    _any unit that can “give support” gives it to any and all units that can take it (priority is lowest to highest dice roll)

    any unit that can “be supported” can be supported by any and all units that can give it

    all support increases the supported unit’s attack power by “1”

    and support does not stack._

    in this game, the only ground units that can NOT be supported are:

    • any unit that gives support (any artillery types)
    • Marines
    • Hussars
      (and also cutters, but we are talking about land here)

    So, it doesn’t matter if you have a howitzer, or an artillery, or a mortar, or a horse artillery.
    All of them will give +1 attack to your supported units, no matter whether they are fusiliers, or dragoons.

    so, your Horse Arty purchases have not been in vain, assuming you have enough Dragoons and Cuirassiers and infantry types for them to support.

    horse arty are very good buys, their effective attack power is the highest in the game (for cavalry)

    Funcioneta the battle for austria awaits me! After that I got to figure out a way to get some naval going again… naval I sacrificed early in the game and did not care for nor think was important… needs to be rebuilt! lol.
