    I was hoping I would get to nuke the US Atlantic fleet too! But I guess you elected NOT to hit Gibralter. Too bad…

    Anyway, I think the writing is on the wall. You guys played a hell of an ANZAC. Those stupid fighters on Java had be biting my nails all game with nothing I could do from Europe. And that US move to the Aleutians was neat. I had not seen that before but will consider doing it in the future.

    I hope we all learned something and are better players for it. I know I did.

  • Not quite done yet, but I can see the writing on the wall. I think we can keep playing till canuck12 has to stop, and if things haven’t changed by then, (or get a lot worse), than we can stop.

    About the ANZZC play: IMO all the ANZAC can hope to accomplish, is to not lose Sydney, and to perhaps stop Japan from taking all of the DEI. In my book, it is worth sacrificing 2 transports in taking and reinforcing Java, and then trying to use the fighters there to threaten Japanese transports in the area.

    About the move to the Aleutians was to try to disrupt Japans plans, and to force them to keep some guys in Korea. It would have worked better if I had build a navel base there, but I was to cheap  :-P.

    So I guess I had some good moves, but my terrible Russia play (Invading China and losing an army in the Ukraine), and my teams bad UK play, (We SHOULD have build a destroyer and 2 subs instead of 3 subs in 98, and that Normandy/Belgium attack right away was really dumb)

    I know that I have learned a lot. (I need to PAY MORE ATTENTION and to buy MOAR BOMBERS!!!)

    You might be discouraged Cube, And I’m going to get in trouble for posting this.

    But This ain’t over.

    TUV’s are almost the same, and income for each side per turn is within 10 IPC’s STILL.

    Granted, The Axis are on the up and up, advancing on all fronts,  but you’ve still got a big of game IMO, that you’ve just got to utilize!

    If only you didn’t build all those convienient factories for the axis in the Middle East… I’d say you were winning!

    I’m Canadian, the french we have over here STILL haven’t forgiven us for beating them in 12 minutes when the British took over Quebec in the 1700’s.

    I hope the France french will someday forgive me, and sink the Italian fleet once more!

    I still don’t know what kind of fit of stupidity possessed me, causing me to build that factory in Iraq.
