    you probably shouldn’t do the navy route with germany just yet,

    he has 9 subs, 3 destroyers, 2 carriers, and 6 fighters, so he could pretty much just ignore your navy for 3 turns or send out blockers

    i think we should play it cautious and build our TUV.  one or two more rounds and we have this in the bag.

    I show only 75% for this battle, assuming you keep 1 land unit.

    It basically will be determined completely on the first round, because almost all of your attacking units are attacking at 1, so either you get a lot of hits, or no hits.

    Most probably, you will lose your entire airforce, but take it with 1 mech infantry.  If you do this, I hope you build some fighters to keep your navy safe, even if you lose your whole airforce this round.

    I’d probably go the long way around, after all, you have the advantage and he can only build at worst 3 tanks there each turn.


  • 75% for him or for me? If you think he has 75%, then you might want to look at the map and run some calculations again. I’ll give you a hint, I have an AB that could potentially scramble fighters to defend against an amphib operation . . .


  • The airbase was an expensive commitment, but it was the only way I could ensure I could hold the IC. I’d have rather spent that money in the Pacific. But US needs to tie down some Germans to keep the pressure off of Russia and it puts Japan on a timer of sorts on Japan. If I hold out long enough in the Pac, the situation in Europe will swing in my favor.
