  • dammit. I clicked “Done” instead of “Post Turn Summary” and it moved on to Japa’s turn.  Here it is as of Japan’s polotics phase.

    The only battle was in z96.  I got 4 hits and the destroyer didn’t hit.  The rest of the moves etc should be in the History.

    I just need to build those 2fighters in UK instead of France.

  • Sorry to hold up the game because of vacation.

    I just finished my move, but Triple A said that I have an error: " triplea roll in separate thread.  Going to buffer response body of larger or unknown size.  Using getResponseBodyAsStream instead of stream is recommended."  What should I do?

    I did one edit during NCM.  During combat, I forgot to unload 1 art and 1 inf to Union of South Africa, so I did the edit.  I hope this is okay.  I also placed the 2 German fighters in UK instead of France.

  • I have a question.  Why is the Mongolian states now Russian?  I thought if Amur was attacked by Japan, then they would become Russian, but I did not attack Amur.


  • A window with some gobbledygook came up when I opened it but I just closed that window and it seems oK.

    Mongolia went Communist because you moved your tank into Buryatia.  The rule is that they become Russian if you attack any Russian territory adjacent to any of them.  Usually that is Amur, but it can be any of them.


  • Thanks for the clarification, Vance.  Is it okay if I change that move then?  Instead of ending my tank movement in Buryatia, is it okay that I end the movement it Amur?  Tank moves from Siberia to Sakha and Amur.  This can be edited on US turn.


  • Yeah you can take it back.  There is something wrong with that file too - it doesn’t move on to USA’s turn and it also doesn’t have any of the units you built showing on it.  So I guess it crashed during your place units phase.

    What you could do is go back to the map from Russia’s turn and run through Japan’s turn again and redo do everything, except the combat moves and battles.  Then just before you click “Post turn summary” at the end, then you can Edit zones 25, 42, 57, 56 and south Africa and Iraq, as well as the German fighters moved to UK.  I’m not sure but I think the bug might be from when you Edited it at the beginning of Japan’s turn; it seems to work better when you edit at the end of a turn just before you post.  That might be just my superstition though.


  • Actually your new units are shown if I don’t Show History.  Pretty weird.  Anyway I can probably fix this up and do USA’s turn later this afternoon.


  • Hate to break it to you, but you’ll have to recreate this map using the edit function. This problem usually crops up when you use the edit function and then undo one or more of your moves during your turn. To avoid this, simply use the edit function at the end of the turn if possible OR be very careful about your moves after the edit function’s been used. I think the latest global addresses this issue, or perhaps the latest triplea version that’s still being playtested at this time.

    Also, ouch allies. I feel your pain!
