    I have looked and it seems that rule 7 is some unwritten rule where Garg just places new units on the board wherever he chooses to redress the balance created by unlucky rolls.  Assuming this is correct, i am against it in general but specifically because we wanted to play low luck and our opponents said absolutely not.  Jeff is the team captain and maybe he has a different view but to me if you are playing luck, you have to live with the bad luck.

    Rule #7 is written down though, on the first page of the tournament thread.

    The specific caveat is that only a single piece/facility, can be given to either side, once per game.

    Dice not being the factor I considered so much in this game, as Vold not having a partner.

    I’m not going to implement it in cases where people are going to be pissed off though - that’s no fun! and breaks my tournament rule concerning “enjoying” the tournament!

    I’ve looked at that thread post 3 times and the rules stop at 6, did you hide it somewhere?

    I don’t like any one absurdly lucky roll to determine the outcome of a game either, which is why i play a lot of low luck on gametable but in this game i really don’t see that.

    I don’t see a need for any divine intervention.  My partner going on walkabout to find the Magic Carrot is not why Axis is in the state it is in, and as they say “That’s Life”.

    I’d rather lose a straight up game than win one that was tweaked.

    I know what I did wrong, what I’ll do different next time, and learned quite a bit about TripleA (Jeff and RGP have been really helpful here).  I’ll probably trade my GTO account for playing TripleA games instead, so mission accomplished.

    Besides, I don’t see a need to roll over quite yet, but the next round or two will be telling.
