when i exited it said if you leave the game now all info will be lost… did i do something wrong? did i need to hit “done” or something? let me know if for some reason my turn is not actually done and ready for you to proceed.
-
So, basically, I do my moves, i post the game file. (if scramble can happen) Then I do combat and finish my turn. How do I post that big list of crap that you guys posted?
-
BOLDFRESH, ignore that stuff, you did PERFECT! And you are well on your way!
GHR2, YES, do your moves, save and post the file. (OR Some people just post the sz they are attacking, what is there, and whats defending, plus thier purchases for the same turn manually)
The big list of crap posts, at the end of your countries turn, just click POST TURN SUMMARY. and it will automatically post everything.
-
Just so you guys know, I’ve only got two weeks to complete this game and then I’m off on vacation for twelve days…
Do you think we’ll be able to wrap it up in that time?
I’ve never played by forum before, so I’ve got no idea what the duration of an average game on here is…
-
Us scramble?
-
no scramble!
-
ok it gives me an error when i press post summary
-
Looks like you still have Boldfresh’s name on the “Login”. You will need his password to post that turn summary now, and it will show up in his name.
Bold, give him your password in a PM and then change it.
Every player that does a turn needs to put in their own A&A username name for “Login” and their own password so your turn summary will post automatically to A&A.org in your username.
-
Wait, that might not even work at this juncture… checking some things…
-
Well, you might just have to post the map here and we’ll skip the turn summary posting for J1.
The problem is, I didn’t get any emails of the dice rolls. I wonder what happened there. MIR, did you get any?
-
If it’s all messed up, and you see no dice rolls, REDO THE TURN.
If it’s just a matter of posting via boldfreshes login, BOLD should NOT give out his password lol. Bold could just download it, type in his info, load the game and click post turn summary himself.
The whole premise of the tourney, is so we all learn tripleA :) Something you are all successfully doing so far.
-
I received no dice rolls for J1… recommend that ghr2 download the saved file again and play the turn over, adding the correct login and email info when he opens the game.
-
Yep, if you can’t validate your turn… REDO it.
-
Ya, I had no idea how that works, so i guess I had to redo it.
I dont know how to send e-mails. Or to punch in the info.
Honest to god, this is how it went, but ill be fine to redo it.
-
Well it’s in your OWN best interest to figure it out anyways.
You know what I think is happening?> ghr, when you LOAD the game, then click START PLAY BY FORUM /EMAIL GAME, instead of START LOCAL GAME.
I think that’s all that’s going on.
Once you click Play By EMail, it shows everyones emails and stuff.
-
AH, ok, I never did that. I just thought it just was, play local and post.
-
Is it all making sense now? :)
-
Right, so “Start PBEM”, then “Load Saved Game”, make sure your Login and password are in there for this site and roll away.
I don’t doubt your map there, but let’s follow the proper format so we are all on the same page moving forward.
