About 2 years ago I found a group of A&A players on a local website, I e-mailed the organizer and asked to join in and he said "“sure, glad to have you aboard”. He gave me his address and seemed like a real nice guy.
I couldn’t wait to play in a group again and I was itching to play the new annaversary edition, but about 2 days before the game, I got a mass e-mail from one of his family members saying that he passed away 2 nights earlier.
That’s a possibility for one or two of these members we’re talking about, maybe they have left more than just this site.

That’s a totally unacceptable excuse.
I expect no less than “rising from the grave” for this community. It’s the standard I hold my employee’s to at work; and if they’re going to use the ‘death’ excuse, I had better be informed in writing - atleast a week in advance.

I, too, was one of the MIA’s and have recently returned after a 2 year hiatus. Truth is, for myself and all of the people you have spoken about, the answer is simple. You had earlier mentioned Tcnance. Talk to mojo. I believe they still keep in contact from time to time. I met him once when he came down to Memphis for a conference. Cool guy. And a player. Got to give him credit. Within 5 minutes of walking into the first bar, he had us sitting at a table with 3 semi-decent looking women and we all hung out for the rest of the night. And it was quarter beer night. Can’t ask for much more.
