B. YOU HAVE LEFT UNITS ON DEFENSELESS TRANSPORTS I am going to sink those for FREE this turn… Never leave units on transports, unless there is a VERY specific reason (only happens 1 in 100 times you load)
I get why you left my transport alone… but damn man.
C. Why the Solomans? It’s not worth anything.
D. Build is OK, but an Aircraft Carrier, would have better suited your needs. You could have landed your planes on it.
E. You did nothing with your forces at India? Why? :) Always move all of your pieces, all the time, somehow, even if your move is to choose to keep them in place, atleast do it deliberately.

Well, call it newbie logic, I guess. I guess the lessons with the transports is one that I need to learn the hard way. Besides, we Marines aren’t known for our superior intellects. The Solomon Islands, while worth nothing in production value, may provide me an aerial platform in a pinch later, and better to take it now than later so it is there when I need it. As for India, I’m honestly not sure what to make of the situation there. I thought it best to keep the backdoor shut against the Japanese, or at least make it harder to kick in. The UK strategy has been the toughest for me to see much to do with. Perhaps we will need to do a second game after I completely ruin this one. ;)

THE GOOD NEWS,
1. Economically, you still make more than me every turn. As long as that stays that way, you are winning the game. As soon as that changes… you are losing the game.
2. Japan’s ground game is turns away from Mattering in Asia, You won’t see much heat from them in russia anytime soon
3. Germany doesn’t have much in the way of an offensive into Russia this turn. This is your chance to regroup, and try to build up a standing russian army, that will buy you enough time to get the allies in the game.

Take a peice of paper, and title it, LESSONS LEARNED, then in point format write down all the things you’ve learned, like medium stacks being bad, always double checking that your capital isn’t exposed. Not leaving Russian planes on the front line, or exposing tanks to my forces, and especially NOT forgetting to move units, like Russian subs and so on.You will learn your own lessons, and have a record of what you have learned, which will make you a better player for the next game, and we can go from there.

One of my tournament teams has more or less folded, and there’s only 1 player remaining on the team. His name is The Desert Journalist… and well, heh, he’s never even played global, and he needs some SERIOUS help.
So I’ve opted to join him, in my OWN tournament, to vye for the title, until such a time as I can replace myself with someone else (who gets eliminated).
