my gambling worked out. I thought of skipping the cruiser with italy and bringing the sub with the rest of the fleet (to choose as casualty if the carrier hit his defense roll instead of tilting bship, otherwise if my bship tilts you got 56% on me).
~I generally don’t like that option from the allies perspective to be honest. Banking everything on KJF against an experienced Japan player, this is going to get crazy :)

Yeah, I like Taranto also, but Tobruk has been working for me lately. Lost too much on Tobruk for sure which is unusual given the odds there. Yeah the dice are not with me this game. Hoping that will balance out when I need it to. Playing 8 games right now- a little too many at one time but I’m trying out different things with each one.
-
Hey Cow…
Remember that time your capital got sacked in the first round of a tournament?
:)
-
Yeah I remember it was 5% or 10% odds or something like that. I gave him credit, I did not think he would do it (because of his conservative style), but he did not have a chance after losing caucasus.
Still I got diced hard on my AA50 games in the forum. I do the same openers as yam and zhukov… don’t know how anyone else does it. zhukov got bad luck against gamerman early on his aa50 game recently. I watched some of that game, I am curious how it went actually, both are good players.
-
oh wow questioneer, I thought you wanted a super competitive game.
HMM, take your time man.
Garg, that tournament was depressing, but the winner does not make me feel bad. The odds I beat zhukov or yam would be 50/50 anyway… they know I usually race berlin or moscow every game. The only income play I do is Japan taking egypt/transjordan if I didn’t do it with germany/italy.
-
Also the way I see it… tournaments take forever to do PBF. checking every battlemap and pieces and seeing if the fighters moved properly etc. I did not check till some random spectator was like, “hey man you know russia got extra infantry…” When I realized I did not even care, that was when I realized PBF sucks the fun out of it.
I think the live game experience is more fun for me.
I am only doing your tournament, because I managed to get a fun partner. I am more or less on the wild side, I like to go crazy, because following the predetermined path to victory is no fun. There are certain opponents I see that I know I can just school and others teams that I have good players I am familiar with I worry lol.
I think Guerrilla guy is Guerrilla_J, we have an aa50 score to settle of 2-2, if he is guerilla_J he plays low luck mostly. Yeah he is good, dice games too, but very rare to see.
You invited the top tier players to your tournament and it is teams so it will be fun. I look forward to players I have not played with in years or players who are good. Also there is good mixture of “courage” players.
Some of the teams look like a real challenge.
I am going to be depressed if I send max power to france and I get diced and lose… the 1% happens.
-
We should have an insurance policy for the games. “If germany attacks france with all available infantry/artillery/mech/tanks in range and loses or comes at under 3 tanks, you can reroll that battle.” But it might make less players do normandy attack knowing they won’t get an insurance policy if they all in france.
-
I ever tell you, the first time I played global, I sent every ground force to france with 2-3 air units… and I lost…
I once lost germany to a 1% attack in a low luck game. I had to miss a 5 on 6 roll for AA gun, he had to hit a 1 on his bombardment, a 1 for his first round attack and I had to roll a 6 for my first round defence then after that he would have to hit every round and I would have to miss every round for him to get 1 tank vs 1 fighter and win with 1 tank. This happened to me…
I once lost a carrier and 2 fighters to a lone fighter attacking it… it was not even a jet fighter, just a regular fighter. I did dice some people hard though in my time.

Questioneer, you can postpone this game if you need to. I do not mind. send me a message when you want to resume it or restarting is fine too. I am ok with it.
Also it is good to know if we are playing competitively or friendly, I was under the impression of the former since you challenged me.

Competitively or friendly game??? Both. Can’t you do both??? :? Please, don’t spare me your best. If you are not going to give me your best then don’t bother playing. That’s boring.
Also, you humor me in the fact that you mention our game on other threads completely off topic. Very smug. I like it.
It flatters me that I must validate you as an AAplayer, giving our game attention where it doesn’t belong. I like your approach to losing- excuses. That’s great material when I beat you here or the tournament. Also, love your flowchart A-D crap, like you actually know something more than anyone here. Must have taken you awhile to make that. BTW, starting you out with the Tobruk attack instead of Taranto is like giving a baby milk. Gotta see if you can handle that first. I personally prefer Taranto, always have. Didn’t get that from you, who thinks that all AA knowledge orginates from yourself.
So please, step off your toilet and save us the jargon and your continuely revising articles. If your gonna talk, play games here, back up your words with some play. Nobody gives a crap what you do 8 hours on a computer a day playing “live” games in your mom’s basement or making AA flowcharts.
Honestly, with 8 other games going, your just another lab rat in testing. Maybe you’ll pass MY test and graduate to “option C” in my flowchart.  “D” being the lowest for babies like yourself. Had to clarify that since you’re below me.
Do something for me kid, try playing some other good players. Learn something. Talk less, play more on the forums here. If you really didn’t care about about forum games, you would be posting every other time to validate yourself would you???
I’ll post ANZAC/France soon, gotta check my flowchart. LOL Cow you’re a trip, your almost as fun as Imp Leader or mantlefan back in the day.
I’ll be expecting another entertaining post from you soon. I know you won’t disappoint.

I missclicked done instead of post.
Here you go. Had to leave the lone transport off uk alone. I send overkill vs naval in dice games lol.
-
Cow, you do your J1 differently then mine . . . I like to buy 2trn/ic, hit sz26, and bring a tank vs kwantung. I like the tank since it gives me another ground unit should uk/china try stacking yunnan or if China takes stuff strong.
-
this is more calcutta oriented, but I kill philippines. I do it this way because I am island oriented. I can see why skipping flip might be better so to prevent china stack and all.
-

Oh no, I hit both flip, sz35, sz37, & sz26. It’s a little more ambitious, but I the moves I do keep the bulk of my fleet safe aside from a ss/dd/ca or two. You can check out my moves/attacks just about every active game I have barring one vs questioneer and my one vs vance. I usually hit calcutta eventually, but I don’t worry too much about them at the start since I usually get them down to 6-7ipc/turn.
-
Ah I go j4 or j5. IC over there is nice to have.
