    Originally I thought your Japanese strategy, was to force your hand on New South Wales J3.  Whether I attacked or not, you could get the bulk of your ENTIRE fleet off the coast of Sydney.

    It was then a pitch battle for the capital,  where you could retain an inf or two on 1 tranpsort in reserve, for a J4 assault.

    That, or I fully was expecting you to make a dash on Hawaii, and plunk 5 carriers + scramble there.  A nye undefeatable defence, which you could support with Subs from japan.

    Then I realized, that if you took both, you basically had the game in the bag, and that if I lost Hawaii early, I wasn’t about to be able to get it back anytime soon.  And without Hawaii, ANZAC is cut off.

    If Honolulu hadn’t been a victory city,  I had a cool move that would have seen my troops go to Johnston or Line island with a NB build.  But With the Fall of Hawaii possible,  and the fact that if you chose NOT to attack J3, I wouldn’t be able to land in Sydney with my bombers.

    So dice rolled as the may.

    again, nevr tried this jap “plan”, more of a “wonder what would happen if” kind of plan and was looking for an oporunity…and i think i missed it.  maybe if i would of hit USA on J3 instead of non com and only hit UK/anzac?  dont know, or maybe if i would have non comed around hawaii instead of near wake and midway.  dont know.  just a threary i have been wondering.  either way, it feels like a REAL bad idea so far.
