i just checked the map repository and then checked triplea developers page, and could not find it.

click “download maps”, then “list games”, then select “World War II Global”.  this will install version 3.5.1 which incorporates 2nd edition.

i am an idiot. i did check earlier and only read “Includes: Original/OOB and Alpha+3” not reading the whole line of
Includes: Original/OOB and Alpha+3 and Second Edition.

FYI:

TripleA 1.6.1.4 has been released over Christmas.  It will load your 1.6.1.2 savegames.

Also, Global 1940 was updated to 3.6 over Christmas.  Make sure both you AND your opponents have updated your map.
