    Well played. That is the strongest Italy I have personally ever seen.


  • Thank you J - part of it was the luck of the Egypt attack. Part of it is sheer aggression.

    I know we’ll be debriefing at the end, but if I had a dritique now for the Allies… it’s to be aggressive. In this version, it pays for the Allies to kill anything and everything in their wheelhouse, stalling the Axis until the US economy can kick in.

    For example - UK Pacific - I ususlly move forward and make Japan make tough choices…

    I do like your US Pacific dedication to subs. That’s entirely the idea in any version of A&A - make your opponent react to you. It hardly matters what form the aggression takes.

  • Another tip is to be keen when it comes to NOs. That’s something I’ve learned the hard way playing against Steve, who is extremely good at the economic game. Get your NOs whenever possible, and sometimes no matter the cost. Your opponent then has to go out of their way to take that 5 IPCs per turn away from you…

    All very good points, thank you. I’m trying to be very aggressive, but cautious with the UK. As in my other Allied game against Steve, I was fairly aggressive early on, and now I’m in danger of losing London. However, I have learned quite a bit, which I have carried over into our game.
