@Blackychan I don’t believe your Italian attacks were legal moves for this set up. If you look at the game notes it states that Italy cannot attack any game spaces containing French or British units until Paris has fallen.
Look at the game notes and let me know your interpretation of those rules.
“Italy, while not at war may move naval units out of the Mediterranean Use Edit. They may declare war at any time, however unless Paris has fallen their combat moves may not include attacks on any game space occupied by French or British units. This is Player Enforced”

That was a fantastically awful run, accomplishing nothing but to further your war effort. A debacle of epic Japanese proportions!
I’ve had some good solid consistent luck in small battles, but you’ve had a couple big moments that kept the pendulum from swinging too far - this is good.
Japan collects 63 + 5 NO = 68 IPCs.
See you on Monday!

The Celtics got nothing on this Epic WWII struggle. Ooh rah.

True.

Non-com, unit adjustment & placement.
UK London collects 24 IPC’s. Making sure I can claim French West Africa, as Paris is being ruled by Jack booted hooligans? And could I have claimed French East Africa whilst there was a French Legionaire there?
UK Calcutta collects 2 IPC’s. We shall remain strong hearted in the Pacific. Even though the Indian population resents us, they will fight the Japanese scourge nonetheless.
-
Steve and I play with a house rule allowing friendly allied territories (without capitals) to be integrated through occupation by other allied powers. However, in the game we’re playing, the French territories are off-limits unless the Axis takes them first.
-
Fair enough. Here is the updated map, with adjusted UK London income.

I’ll remove the Brit IPC from the board.
Italy purchases Minor IC, Destroyer, 3 Infantry = 29 IPCs.

Well played. That is the strongest Italy I have personally ever seen.
-
Thank you J - part of it was the luck of the Egypt attack. Part of it is sheer aggression.
I know we’ll be debriefing at the end, but if I had a dritique now for the Allies… it’s to be aggressive. In this version, it pays for the Allies to kill anything and everything in their wheelhouse, stalling the Axis until the US economy can kick in.
For example - UK Pacific - I ususlly move forward and make Japan make tough choices…
I do like your US Pacific dedication to subs. That’s entirely the idea in any version of A&A - make your opponent react to you. It hardly matters what form the aggression takes.
-
Critique, that is…
