@Rescue55-joe I believe the “10 IPCs for each country” that you are referring to are actually the National Control Markers, which are used to track both conquered territories and national production levels. As barnee pointed out, IPCs are not physically provided, and the Rulebook instructs us to track them on paper, but any proxy (such as Monopoly money) will do. See page 7 of the Rulebook for details on both National Control Markers and IPCs.

In a nutshell, the National Production Track is used to chart your “income” using a National Control Marker. and every turn the “money” goes into your “bank account”, which is represented by IPCs, where it can be spent on new units (or saved for later).

@panther Thank you for the link. Unfortunately, I have finished translating the whole rulebook, but I’ll be sure to use if I ever translate the 1940 and 1942 versions. Right now, I’m going to work on the Anniversary version instead, even though I don’t own that version (nor the 1940 and 1942 versions). Thank you very much for your help.

I was confused by the rules for a while regarding that. I thought it was each group (all units that hit a 1, all units that hit at 2) roll for all the units.

When I moved on to Global 1940 and brought that mistake with me, it led to a problem where 12 US bombers (give or take) were unable to sink a Japanese fleet of 1 aircraft carrier, 1 destroyer, 2 fighters, and 1 battleship.

I figured it out later on, and I’ve been playing correctly for a year.

Saw that! I bought a copy for a sixth grader that I know. I’m actually giving his lessons how to play. He’s picked up the game fast and is improving quickly. Good deals though for sure by Amazon

Just as a public service, I had the 1941 Supreme map (1329x700mm, or 52x28") printed at my local Fed-Ex Office print shop on outdoor banner vinyl. It cost me about $70 (US dollars) to have this done. I know not everyone will get the same prices or print the same size, but that’s just to give a ball park figure in 2016 dollars of what a typical big box print shop will charge for such a project. Kudos to Dedo for making this available to the A&A community! Two pics below include one shot ready to play, and another showing the size difference between the printed map and the original board map. Here’s my results:
