prefer sending files back and forth. started thread if you want to do germany. really liberal with edits-moving pieces forgotten etc. like the idea of making decisions for your opponent such as scramble, submerge, intercept, casualties etc. to move game along. I hate sitting down to play and after a few minutes have to wait for scramble decision. you can just play in local mode if you like. I dont get dice rolls because of gmail account. borysowiczmike@gmail.com if you want to set up so you get my dice rolls.

Uh all I see is some random typing.
How do you play this in forums?

Download either the latest battlemap or triplea from the below link. There’s some info related to the various software tools/maps in their respective threads and you can probably find answers to any questions here.

http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?board=54.0If you don’t have the latest Alpha 3.9 changes, it’s the document I’m attaching. Axis and Allies Global seems to be the most popular here, but there are quite a few other games played as well. Basically all you do is type out everything that you’d do such as purchasing, combat moves, etc if you’re using the battlemap program. The dice roller is random and you can’t change it, so once the results are posted that’s it. It takes some getting used to but it can be fun once you’ve got the hang of it. Especially if you don’t have the time or players to get your axis and allies fix.
Triplea is great though, no manual typing everything out. Except for a couple minor things, it doesn’t let you make any illegal moves. They just finished updating and programming it and it’s definitely got my vote as far as medium to play on.
