are you familiar with the term “glacial” as it relates to pace? normally we play pretty fast, but for the amount of life left in this game (which i think is awesome) we are moving at a snail’s pace. not trying to rush you, just noting the fact. :-)

you are gonna need an aweful lot more help from the dice to pull this one out. luckily for you, my dice couldn’t hardly be much worse lately, in every game (except the global game with dutch, they’ve been pretty sweet, i guess his favorable luck outweighs my bad luck thank goodness).
you probably think i’m crazy, but i had this game on overdrive before i gave up britain. that put you back in the game but i still felt comfortable. when you took it the second time and i lost two more turns of production, you REALLY got my attention, as you in my opinion took a dominant position in the game (although probably not as dominant as the allies had prior to the first fall of london). but now, i’m in it to win it, so here’s hoping you bring your “A” game because this could be one for the record books :-o
i think if we make this game our first priority amongst league games and keep our heads in it (meaning no more gigantic mistakes) it should be a true epic.

I can honestly say there has been a lot more activity in this game than with any other. That being said, it is the summer and all I can promise is I will do what I can when I can….it is far from a snail’s pace

no, you missed my point. i don’t think the game is moving slowly - we are moving faster than most games. my point is, this game has so many more turns left in it than a normal game, that effectively it is moving slower than a normal game since at this pace it may take over a year to complete… :-o

i said it only as an observation, there are many times i can’t move any faster either, just pointing out that at our faster than normal pace, this game may still take forever to complete! which I think is awesome, i am enjoying it very much.
