I’m playing a couple of games of Triplea over the forum. My horrible abandonned Sea Lion has really put the Axis in a bind. The odds that I can turn this around is slim to non-existant. So if you want to start up a new game using triplea I’m game.  :-)

So you are bidding to get allies and the bid is the number of allied units the allies will remove from the board? If we’re playing non-league (and thus not breaking any rules) I’ll play along and let you have allies? What units do you want to lose?

Or did I get it wrong?

No I was bidding like in the convention of other A&A games, where you auction bid.  By saying 9 I’m saying I’ll take Allies for a 9 placement bid, if you are willing to accept Allies for lower you bid lower.

I guess I’m unaware if other bidding conventions are in effect for global on here.

All my bidding has been for Axis but always negative so in effect extra units for the allied. The only change is what direction the bid go.

I’ll take allied for 6. A ss in sz98. Counter-bid?

Yeah sry.  I’m thinking that now that people are generally taking an Allied bid it would be simpler to just bid down auction style.
