I know we have always played with the first roll of the aa gun matches the first roll of damage, and so forth. Recently I saw someone have an issue with doing it that way when there is a hit by the aa gun (do not even remember who that was). I just wanted to clarify that is how you like to roll as well.

yeah i am fine with the aa and damage rolls going at the same time and if a bomber is shot down, the corresponding damage roll is eliminated.

It sure didn’t work in our tourney game, mostly due to the fantastic J start and the destroyers shooting down all my fighters. It may not be appropriate to go full on at Japan when they get such a great start I don’t know.

one of the nastier things that has been happening to me lately as well is fantastic bombing campaigns. was very happy to see you get a bomber shot down so hopefully that won’t happen to me in this game…
Commander Jenn has put on a bombing campaign against my axis in our league game, the likes of which i have never seen before. she has more than 80 damage against my factories without having a single bomber shot down (all bombing raids were against aa defense). it has somewhat in the game (she’s had amazing luck with the rest of her dice as well), but she has made enough strategic errors to be in big trouble even though she has more TUV and income.

I think I am just going to use the way the US goes after Japan to keep them occupied while Russia and the UK go after Europe. I am going to try it in the tournament game. I have seen how difficult it is with the Axis if Japan is not involved on the assault on Russia.

My win against DM was with bmrs going after Germany and Italy….but I have lost that way too
