Ok, I see now. You expected me to change the map. Yes, the rule must be implemented at the end of the Japanese Combat Move. Will set Russian markers/units after Italy 3 along with moving one inf away from Nov.
Please don’t forget to check the number of your units rolling 3 @ sz91 before proceeding with the battle.

Leave it alone and go ahead. My logic is: the extra dice you roll is the last in the @3 list. It hit 5 and missed. Also, since we are actually dealing with the code generating random numbers, I’m sure that the fact you added an extra generation doesn’t affect the volumes of other generations. Btw, if there is another practice for solutions in such situations, pls share. Just curious how forks settle it here. Any way I am ok with this.

Practically never happens in a live game as more people follow it and correct early. I think we would conclude to reroll, but given our playgroup thats not a certainty.
