Congrats on the successful funding! That’s no small feat, especially in the board game world. Looking forward to seeing more details on Song for War when you get the chance to share. Always interesting to see how different designers approach WWII mechanics, especially in the Med Theater, which doesn’t get as much focus. Good luck with the production phase, it sounds like quite the ride.
Twilight Imperium

I’m not an avid board gamer by any means, I just play Axis & Allies to death and a few games of Settlers of Catan, but recently my group has invited me to play Twilight Imperium III later this month, and I have accepted. From what I’ve seen and learned so far on You-Tube and BGG.com, I think I’m really going to like it, but I wanted to get the opinions of other A&A players and ask what you think of Twilight Imperium III.
If all I play is Axis & Allies, will I also enjoy Twilight Imperium III ?

I’ve never played the game but I do own it and the two expansions which have been published so far. I bought it for the plastic spaceships and for the hexagonal tile depicting planets, starfields, space hazards and so forth – all of which look very good.

This game sounds really cool, could any of you maybe post a picture or link of it?

You can play this game on triple a, Right?

It has the same combat mechanics of A&A, but the game is more a mix of political/economical/diplomatic warfare.
War is just intimidatory in this game.

TI III, well…a matter of taste really, but what you should try to get your hands on is TI II and its extension, Hope’s End. At least the players I know prefer TI II by far.
Its out of print, but worth the effort.
Anyways, have fun with the game!
