My subs are firing first strike so all 3 subs hit, and you are supposed to roll first strikes before the attackers ships roll

Well, they’re the only thing defending at 1, so it’s easy enough to pick them out.  They all missed in round one.  One hit in round 2, but that’s just one less sub on my side attacking, and my subs all missed in any case.  Doesn’t seem to matter, but I’ll keep it in mind in the future.

Wait a min- they don’t defend at 2 when first striking.  They still defend at one.  Unless there was a rules change I missed.

I just checked the Pacific rulebook, they do actually defend at 1 even when there is no Dst present.  It’s on page 16.
