Game itself did not give the option for the loss of the US destroyer. Please confirm if this is a bug or the intended rules that the controlling country must lose their forces first.

In case you don’t like how the last turn ended up, Japan, I have attached a file where I have made the slightest of changes to better affect our desired outcome.
-Germany has a Japanese dignitary visiting for a “pow wow.”
-Russia has entered “Last Stand” mode, but will be fully revived if it gets a kill.
-Britain has decided to abandon the war and all of its country’s holdings, save for Austrailia, of which the entire populace of the British Isles has moved to for tea.
-There is Big Trouble in Little China
-The USofA was retconned to have never made entry into the war. It is now using the entirety of its resources to building the starship Enterprise NCC-1701 out of an old bomber in Iowa.
-Canada is now a bunch of neutral hosers.
-Owen Wilson is now stuck Behind Enemy Lines in Bosnia.
-Italy now owns Brazil. There’s nothing funny about that. -
