Germany’s Turn!
Congrats on taking Russia! This game is just about over. You’ve outplayed me from the beginning, and I’ve learned a lot watching your moves!
-
This is really the first competitive game of '42 I’ve played, and it’s been pretty interesting to see what you’ve done.
The Saf and Sik ICs were certainly interesting.G12

Retreat from Seu to Ger
Two fighters in Seu need to be lost; I won’t assume, so just remove two on UK’s turn.

At this time, I believe I will concede the game to you. You win!!!
The landings by the allies in Europe have come too little and too late. The Americans were distracted from their primary goal of landing in Europe by 9 turns of $10-15 dollar purchases in Sinkiang. I would not duplicate that strategy in the future. The British kept control of Africa, perhaps due in part to their factory in South Africa. However, it too seemed like a distraction from the UK invasion of Europe. I might try a UK South Africa factory again in the future, though, simply because it keeps Germany’s income in check and UK’s income up. I dunno. Losing the SZ 2 fleet round 1 sure hurts UK. I like that opening for Germany.
Thanks for playing! Perhaps we can play again in the future. Best of luck to you!!!
-
I’d agree with your analysis.
The South Africa factory was interesting to me.
Feel free to let me know if you ever feel like a rematch sometime.Good game!
