  • Japan’s Turn!

    Next time I play Allies, I don’t think I’ll be building any Sinkiang factories. I had read it was a dumb move, but I didn’t believe it and wanted to try it for myself. Now here I am, turn 9, bombing the factory that I myself built. it might have slowed Japan down some, but at what cost? It delayed the full force of USA being thrown against Germany, where it mattered. I only learn by losing, it seems.

  • I’d agree with your analysis; unless you’re going for a full KJF, investing in Pacific-side assets tends only to dilute what affect UK and US can have on the Axis.
    The mainland US IC, in the face of Japan’s significant land forces, needed Russian help to remain in Allied hands.
    This worked for a while, but also let Germany advance a lot quicklier than normal.  I don’t know if that’s worth slowing down Japan.
