Got it, I didn’t see that I also had a FAQ, was thinking I only had the CLASSIFIED clarification
Now I see my specific question is answered, the carriers could not even split up during a combat move that ends in the same place

Scramble.
decided to go for it - not of to a great start though: 7 hits, what is your OOL?
5 Italian inf. 2 Jap bombers.
9 hits second round - should I simply kill infs/arts first, then tanks, then planes (if i get that far)?
if yes, which planes do you want to keep last?
I count 8 hits. Are you sure it’s 9?
I’ll lose Italian ground, then German ground, then German fighters, then Italian, then Japanese
it was really 9 hits
another very good result for me, dice in europe have mostly been falling against you pretty badly the last round and a half - better than expected result, should’ve kept a tank to occupy, but hadn’t expected to win this after a bad round one and was just hoping to kill as much as possible
After round 1, the US only had a 5% chance of winning that battle. Then they end up surviving with 3 aircraft left over.
That’s too many batterings in Europe for the Axis to pull it out. NWE was a killer. Round 5 was a turning point round with the Italians getting smoked there, that was followed up by additional epic fails there by the Germans. And, I think my aa fired 12 times and shot down one. The bombing raids were heavy. That being said, I made a number of dumb mistakes, like not seeing the bomber in Alaska, not arming the Italians with an additional armor, and letting the Russians blitz to Balk. You capitalized beautifully.
Good game.
thanks DD
yes, i had slightly below 50% at the start at the battle, but I believe even less than 5 after round 1, didn’t have any choice then to continue after R1 and I was lucky indeed… I think we both made mistakes and both made some good moves, and the luck was clearly mine in the final battles - you had some interesting moves like the egypt IC for example
gg
Your KGF was nearly flawless, that was the true key to the win.
KGFs are easy enough to stop in AA50 if you use the right strategy as the Axis: 1) Get the Japs to Egypt and the Med as fast as possible. 2) When their time comes (usually in the 5th round or so), the Italians HAVE to be able to push the UK out of NWE. Getting skunked in z35 on J1 and losing both fighters and leaving the dd and tnp alive did a lot to de-rail Item 1; Item 2 fell apart on dice, UK capitalization on week German airforce, and a screw up on my purchase.
I love a Jap IC in Egypt on a KGF. They can throw units right into the European theatre instantly, and helps them defend z34.
not sure about that but thanks
yes, i think you played that very well, but i don’t think that the axis game is that easy against a good russia player, i like your tactic though and you played it very well, with different dice here and there it could’ve been a very different game - am curious how it would’ve developed if the dice would’ve been different the last round and a half, it would definitively have relieved most of the pressure on germany, but russia was so strong, so don’t know
yes, it works very well i think, don’t think i’ve seen it before
