    hmm, I am going to have to think about whether I want to keep this going… a nice combo of bad moves, bad luck, and your good moves and the axis spiraled downward…


  • I think it’s a lost cause for the axis now that I established a foothold in Southern France with more troops on the way. I agree that taking Paris or Rome can still be postponed for some time, but eventually they will fall and Europe’s underbelly is completely undefended anyways and ready to take. I don’t even need Rome or Paris when I can build another factory in Greece or even Yugo and keep the USA units coming that way. Every unit you’re going to assign to the Western front, is a unit you’ll need to beat back the Red Army…another thing that is impossible right now. There is no way the German armies in Nov and Epl will beat the Russians in Bel, unless with extreme dice luck, there is too much German artillery missing.
    Japan is not beaten yet, and they are still able to deliver a good fight, but I do think Calcutta is not an option anymore, on the contrary, the allies are starting to gain more grip on the whole of southeast Asia.
    I’m not wanting to end the game prematurely here, I just think the Axis have lost the initiative and are too far beaten back and they’ll need a lot of luck if they want to recover from this.

    Yeah, this game could drag on a long time. If this were face to face, it’d fun, but on the forum this could take weeks. How about this, I will conceed if you agree to a rematch, same bid (which I think was 0?)with sides switched.
