    you would be right if it were the uk’s turn, i would not be able to make any noncombat move with the transports because they would either have to leave the zone in combat phase or be involved in the battle with the destroyer, thus preventing their ability to be involved in noncombat.  however, since it is russias turn, i believe should be able to clear the zone and then board the transports in noncombat since the british transports were not involved in combat.  the way i read the rule, boarding a transport in prohibited in a hostile sea zone, but not after the zone is not hostile (ie, in noncombat after the destroyer is cleared).  IF this were all true, the ability of the russians to actually clear the zone is another question entirely.  :lol:

    i have asked for clarification in the FAQ, we’ll see what is said.

    bro!  :-o your destroyers have LITERALLY hit about 75 percent this game.  :lol:  i will check when it’s over, but i think that has to be pretty darn close.  and that’s over a lot of chances, not just 3 out of 4!  OUCH.

    Thank you. You are right in saying the dice were out to get you. It seemed like all my destroyers were killing planes while they were sunk.
