Yep, CA is cruiser. and i forgot about scrambling… DAMM IT.
In an earlier game of A&A, there was 1 french inf in holland, i send 2 arm in to destroy it, and the inf hit TWICE, and the armor did not hit at all.
(BTW, i miscalculated, and i thought i save only 1 IPC,)

OK, firstly this: Smolensk has 3 inf. 4 art. 4 mech. 1 arm. defending. Round 1 you rolled too many 2’s.
Secondly, what casualties would I have taken? All armor? Just state “all infantry.”
Thirdly, are you going to do any combats with the other subs?
Fourthly, the second to last post I’d assume is in this order:
Bryansk attack then Bryansk defend (error, redone in next post). Smolensk attack then Smolensk defend.
And you’re still rolling too many 2’s in Smolensk.

Honestly, I think you need to reroll everything.
Firstly: You haven’t listed casualties, so the second round is speculation.
Secondly: The advanced mechanized infantry tech is standard (I used/mentioned it last turn), but it is not reflected in the rolls.
Thirdly: Smolensk has lost some troops and now has 3 inf, 4 art, 4 mech and 1 arm defending it. There is a major discrepancy between that and the roll.
