    Glad you can appreciate it Dutch!  TDJ still has a LONG way to go in his gaming, though he has improved.  I figured taking some early risks might provide a tighter game.  Turns out they payed off…  But atleast he has the guts to keep going.  I’m looking forward to his response to DESPAIR.

    I didn’t see that comment… until just now.

    And part of the problem is, I planned my turn around capping that dirty transport.  My belief that you would have no transport capacity on this next UK turn was part of my planning.

    Alright…

    Well in reviewing my turn, I likely would have sent the extra fighter to EPL.  And NOT invaded Gibraltar (as my intention would be to prevent you from taken france)

    If I give you the transport back now…  I get exploited in france, unless I undo some of my attacks, but puts me benefitting from not losing the Gibraltar attack.

    The easiest/fairest resolution IMO is we put your transport back into your navy this turn but you forgo taking a shot at france on the next turn,  (NWY or anything else is acceptable).  I’ll eat not having the extra fighter dice in EPL.

    That or in fairness I have to redo the entire German turn, dice et-all?

  • I would up in agreement to not attacking France this turn. However, like you said, this is a tournament game and while gentleman’s agreements are acceptable and in good sportsmanship, re-doing a turn may be the best call.

    I will agree to a turn re-do. This isn’t a controversial issue, but do you think we need to involve a mod for clarification?


  • Actually, after reviewing the results, I would agree to not attacking France and leaving everything else as is with no turn re-do. You can roll for that extra fighter here using the in-house dice and apply that result to the EPol battle.
