If you attack a sea zone adjacent to an enemy airbase with planes on it, you have to ask the other side for Scramble Orders. Since it is clear to me from your purchase that you do not intend to sea lion, I would have scrambled 1 fighter from Scotland.

A battleship is sunk if it takes 2 hits; it can only absorb 1 hit. My battleship would have been sunk on the first round and the roll you made @4 should have been for my scrambled fighter, which is now safely back at Scotland airbase because you appear to have called off your attack after 1 round. So you should have a damaged battleship and a couple subs in z111.

France has a AA gun so you need to roll 3 AA shots @1 before rolling the battle of France. I am going to roll that AA and if I get a hit you are going to have to re-roll the battle of france. Also, if you have 4 tac combined with armor or fighters you would roll 4@4; not 3@4.

If you would like to continue the battle in z111, you can do that with your damaged battleship against my fighter. Your subs are still there but they can’t hit my fighter and since I lost my destroyer in the first round of combat, it can;t hit your subs either. So it would be 1 against 1. up to you.

I’m alright no battle. Sorry about scramble orders this is my first g40 game so that didn’t even occur to me. I think in global that bb’s take three to kill although I may be wrong. I’ll post my forces and where they are. Hint I don’t have triple a software.

I haven’t heard of anyone having trouble with malware etc after downloading ABattlemap. It’s a free download and I will be happy to walk you through setting it up and playing with it. It’s easy.
