    Just so you know, submarines can’t pass through the Danish straits (or the Turkish straits, or canals) unless it’s controlled by a friendly power from the start of your turn.

    Since the USSR and Germany aren’t yet at war, the Soviet Union can technically request permission to pass through (it’s a weird rule).  Since it doesn’t matter much, I am fine with saying Germany allowed it, but I thought you should know.

    The straits of Gibraltar are an exception in allowing the passage of submarines regardless of control.
