Ah…very nice…just read the thread. I will be doing this very soon. This will probably be the new way we do PBF here I assume. I don’t know about everybody else, but I’m sure they would agree, typing out the moves gets pretty old after a while. :wink:
Indeed, the advantages of Triplea compared to Battlemap are even more pronounced playing Global. In addition to the time saved by not having to type or meticulously check maps, it’s way less stressful if I don’t have to worry about myself or my opponent misinterpreting the rules or accidentally placing more or less units than required.

hmmm I must be missing something. That’s the message that popped up after I filled what you see on the screen out. When I hit the pbem it just lists some email providers. Is there a different page somewhere? I’ll go through the directions again. Thanks for the reply.
the topic ID must be a number
like, for example, the topic id for THIS thread is 25868
so go make a new thread in the play by forum section, then take that topic id, and put it into triplea

the “TO” and the “CC” must be different email addresses

you know this really is not that difficult dude,
i don’t understand why you delete your dice servers folder (or rename it, or whatever you did)
first thing first: uninstall triplea, and then reinstall it
second thing, read what the help button says
all of the answer’s I’ve given you are things you could have figured out by reading the help documents included with triplea
third, when you register your email with triplea war club dice server, it will SEND you an email. you have to click the link in that email to finish the process

I’m in the process of playing my first game here on the forums and I’ve encountered a problem with posting my turn.
When I click on post turn summary I get the dialogue box that says save to Axis & Allies.org, but when I click “yes” I’m getting an error message that’s says “incorrect password” and my turn won’t post on the forum.
It hasn’t hampered the game any because I’ve been emailing my turn to my opponent, but I would like my turn to show like his does.
What am I doing wrong and how do I correct this?
what did you put in the id/name and password fields?
it has to be your axisandallies.org name and password
I entered my password, but I think my opponents name may be in the field.
I’ll check that on the next round and see if it helps.

Yes,
it works on all computers (Windows, Mac OS, and Linux)
I down loaded “triple_1_6_1_4_mac.dmg” assuming this was the Mac version of triple A.
When the DL completed and I tried to install the program I get this message “the following disk images could not be opened” “triple_1_6_1_4_mac.dmg unrecognized”
Did I DL the wrong program, or is there an issue? I am on a 1 month old MBP retina display.
