  • anyway go on, I don’t think the game is doomed in europe, but it might be in Asia, 'cause my project was to start build there now and I’m not sure I can.

    My original plan was to put many resourches away from Russia (and I accomplished that somewhat) and by giving you targets in the medi to make yourself lose air/naval units there in the first rounds.

    After getting into the med I wanted to get Greece with the americans to support the russians and convoy the italians, then unload the russians in the 3 islands (Cipro, Sicily and Sardinia).

    I need lots of thinkering to improve this though. What do you think of it?

    If you really have to get to Gib this turn, then block with the CA and DD. Ă‚

    if you have all your carriers at gib, the odds get bad for Germany.

    Of course, I will happily sink the CA and DD.

    Also, I will want to relook at my Italian turn, to see what I would have done differently.

    If we’re going to do this, we should basically back up to Allies 3, complete the non combat moves, and then let me take Italy’s turn.


  • I think that what you are suggesting is very close to what should be done; however, implementation - dice rolls - the breaks will be different each game.

    I do not believe that the specifics of what the allies do are so important, as long as they take enough pressure off of Russia that russia can do what it must do for the allies to win a post sea lion game.

    Also, remember that the Russian NO is changing.  You are going by the current official A3 rule, but Krieg has already suggested that the NO for pro allied neutrals, Yugo, Greece, is going away.


  • this game is somewhat of an experiment for me as well, as I am trying to see what would happen if Germany bought all Navy R3.
