That was rough. 6 to AB, 6 to NB, 14 to IC. We seriously need to review our AA reroll rules for games 9 & 10. I’m still not satisfied. Shooting down a bomber should be a big deal, not done away with by a rules technicality. It makes bombing strategically almost no risk.
Germany collects 45 + 10 NO = 55 IPCs.

You were supposed to roll Damage with that 1 surviving bomber and if it rolled higher than 7, with the +2 included, you couldn’t reroll because that $ variance would than have been under 15.

Ok. I just go with the flow… I thought that a bomber lost was a dtraight reroll, period, and a tac bomber lost wasn’t, period. I thought we based that on using the average, not an actual roll.

That is true with 1 bomber, which we discussed face to face, which is why we said it might be better to only attack with 1 bomber which is what I did every turn after in last game. We can discuss it, but it is what we played last game. It’s based on end results of the battle, but intercepters are their own battle. Isn’t that what we said? 15 IPC shift can reroll. 2 bombers should not get shot down and do 11 damage. if 1 gets shot down that is -12 if the damage lost is 3 or more it is a reroll. We said greater than 15 rerolls. So if you roll a 5+2 or 6+2 for damage you can’t reroll. We can discuss, but this is how we played and it makes it a little more realistic, which we wanted, right?
