@Avner Boo. I can’t access the dice server! Stucifer posted earlier that this was a problem. I guess we’ll have to delay.
2012 - Global 1940 - Find League Opponents Here
-
Hey guys… if anyone is looking for a G40 game…I’m not up to playing right now. :-D
-
I, on the other hand, have a very empty schedule. My tourney game is on hold until the 17th when my partner gets back. I am looking for at least 3 games right now. Bid/no bid: don’t care. Tech: no. Pick your side if you want.
-
Botider just conceeded our game, if you want to play 505.
-
hey Jen, any time you want a rematch for the league let me know.
-
U-505, I’ll play you. My Allied play needs polish, so I’ll take Allies with no tech. Let me know.
Cheers

Looking for a game.
Tech or not. With bid.
-
I’m in playa. PM me with your bid.
-
I need a 3rd game going - if the player can be quick (defined as posting your turn the night after I post mine at the latest.) Doc won’t let me go back to work for a week or two, and I’m bored. :-o  :-o
1940, I like tech, but I won’t require it. Bid is 1d6+2 (I can go up or down on the +n though, if you want - and I am okay with you taking a 0 bid or giving me IPC to play the allies if you REALLY want too…WEG)
I’m pretty flexible on arrangements. I can’t do tripleA, there’s a glitch with it on a Server 2008 unit (hey, I gotta recertify, so I need to play with the OS, okay?).
-
I’m interested in a league game or 2. alpha 3.9, bid, nt, tripleA (latest is 1.61 engine, 3.1 map). Pm if interested.
-
Anybody out there up for a G40 league game? Looking to play Allies (my weaker side) but willing to bid, and battle map game.
Tripple A is great, but I hate the fact I can only see a tiny fraction of the map and have a hard time telling ship classes apart – has lead to many errors by me.
-
Karl, if you position the mouse pointer over the sea zone in question and press ctrl+b, TripleA opens up the battle calculator and within the battle calculator the sea zone in question automatically populates. If you scroll the mouse pointer over the pictures it tells you what unit type you’re looking at. It’s a useful tool if you’d like to make TripleA more friendly to use for those tricky naval units :-)
-
Thanks Fortress. I am sure I will have to learn. TrippleA is the future, but like a Luddite I try to hold on to the past.
-
Karl, TripleA has also improved its resolution when you zoom out. So now the map images remain reasonably crisp even if you zoom out to 50% (which on many maps will give you a fair amount of the map).
Then you can still use the “Territory Tab” to scan any and all territories & sea zones and the contents of the territories you cursor over will appear in the panel on the right hand side of the screen.

anybody interested in a game?
