There should be fighters in W. Germany to negate that attack on the fleet…not sure what happened, but feel free to redo all the allies that you want to compensate for it. (2 FIghters, 2 Tactical Bombers, 1 Strategic Bomber in W. Germany, 2 Fighters and 1 Tactical Bomber will scramble to fight off the British fleet.)

OK - from your map you had all planes in Holland – I had assumed to protect the planes.
Please repost your Japan map with what the germans should look like so I can assess what I want to do with the allies.

In regards to the American ships, yes you can place them in any sea zone on the Pacific map so long as that sea zone does not touch any Japanese territories. SZ 16 is fine.
I can post the Japanese map. I think what happened is I was in a rush and must not have dragged things over far enough or just slipped my mind. We’ll go with it being my mistake and I’m good with you counting that as a win, I’d just rather not go through the monotony of doing Germany and Japan 1 over again, if it’s at all possible not too! Especially right after doing them the first time!
So, some of the fighters could not have made it to Holland (Poland and Hungary specifically, it took 3 to get to SZ 112 and then there was the Fighter and Tactical from Germany that went to SZ 111 which is 3 spaces, so something had to land in W. Germany.)
