It’s funny you ask this now. I had a big post written up to reply to Jenn, but then I changed my mind.
You should ask this question on the league thread and/or PM Jennifer.
I’m not sure how “back” she is yet, but officially I have zero authority at this point.

Allies putting out an SOS
I mean they have been getting killed the past few weeks and it hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down as of tonight. I don’t have numbers because I don’t track dates, but I’m pretty sure the Axis have been winning 4/5 of the time or more the past 3 weeks or so.Overall Axis win% is currently at .569
All 3 tiers have had more success with the Axis than the Allies, but especially tier 1 and tier 2I see part of the problem?
Jeff28 and Fortress were 2 of the most successful allied players and they haven’t been with us for the past month or more.
Karl has also actually had more conquests with the Allies than the Axis.
Allweneed and myself have had a lot of success with the Allies, but then we’ve done just as well with the Axis, so…… we kick your butt either way :wink:But yeah, I think the lack of recent playing from Jeff28 and Fortress is one significant reason why the Allies aren’t posting their share of wins these days.

Overall Axis win% is currently at .569
In other words, for every allied win there are 1.32 axis wins, or you could even say the axis is 32% more likely to win than the allies at current bid levels.

That’s an overall average for everyone who’s played here so far.
But I think it mainly indicates that it’s easier to be successful with the Axis than the Allies in the first year.
Most of us are really in our first year of playing this game. This setup and rule set has only been out basically since Alpha3. I know I still feel like I’ve got a long way to go.Variance, I highly recommend that a player looks at their prospective opponent’s record as Axis and as Allies when bidding.
If the guy has played 10 games as one side an 0-2 as the other, you should be able to get a pretty sweet deal taking the side he doesn’t want! Man, don’t let him play to his strength! Like in basketball, if he’s left handed, make him go to his right!

Hmmm, just noticed after seeing your comment. Appears one of my allied victories was logged as an Axis. I should be 5/0 and 4/4. Not quite as imposing… especially since you heavyweights have entered the ring :P.

Hank, Fortress, or JWW? (I know it wasn’t Egg)Yup yup, 1 allied win each against Hank, Wheat, Miami, and Vance. Both Hank and Wheat came back to smoke me twice and Miami and Vance both quit A&A after our first game :P.
