Allweneed responded to my question.
He said he didn’t buy any tanks until after round 9. So I downloaded the game and double checked.
He indeed bought a tank at India in round 5, and 2 more in round 7. It was only the tank with the Americans he bought in round 10….He said he bought them because of damaged factories/limited production. This is interesting, because it is one of the many reasons I gave him, a year or two ago, why tanks were not extinct (or RIP as he put it).
Seems he took my advice without admitting I had a good point. He is interested in a challenge game with me to demonstrate our different opinions, but I’m not starting new games just yet. So stay tuned.

there were 35 results for 2012 in the G40 league. I think it is fair to say things are heating up.
Also, there were 93 results in the 2012 AA50 league. a renaissance in axis and allies or a mere speed bump…? time will tell.

I’m not tracking that for G40 yet.
My personal opinion is that most players don’t really know what they’re doing yet, so I don’t think it would be helpful.
I’m also curious though.

go to the beginning of this thread and read up on it karl… gamer’s rankings are for interest only. they have no bearing on playoffs.

Look at the league rules for exactly how the playoffs are determined.
My results spreadsheet is mainly just to provide us all with current results since the mods rarely report the standings. Since I’m tracking all this data, I just go one step farther and do a rough point system based on strength of schedule and equalized for # of games played.This way, you can compare yourself to players who’ve played a lot more or a lot less games than you. Look at the players near you in the standings. For you, Karl, currently that’s Ziggurat and Jeff28. Play one of those guys for a heck of a good matchup!
Yeah, this just provides a lot of useful data that we otherwise would not have. Like who’s played who and who won, all up to date and accurate. At your service! :-)
