Updated again - decided to call the game at long last
DM’s 9-1 with 1.4 PPG is looking quite impressive
OBG at 14-4 and .83 PPG appears to be much improved over 2011Both are looking to star in the “Major” Playoff?? Certainly well on their way. They might have to contend with Billy or even Dave Jensen?, who’re also on their way to finishing 14 games :-) They’re flying under the radar, but in single elimination, anything could happen.

I forgot about a possible “major” playoff. lol!
If all my current games finish I’ll have 14 for sure. I’ll probably pick up at least one more once some of these do finish.

A new sheet is added for the 2012 Global 1940 standings to date. There are no point rankings as there is not enough data at this time. No one has won more than 2 games more than they’ve lost, and also no one has lost more than 2 games more than they’ve won. Probably nobody really knows what they’re doing yet.
I changed my subjective tier ranking for 3 players, so many players’ point totals and PPG have changed a bit. I’m still using roughly .5 PPG as a cutoff for tier 1 and negative .5 for cutoff between 2 and 3, and counting the composite 2011 and 2012 combined for this purpose. With possible exceptions. It’s not a perfect system - kind of like the BCS or something. It’s subjective.
Reminder that these rankings are for informational purposes and fun and curiosity only. Nothing official about them. They do not have any bearing whatsoever on who will play for the championship - that is set by league rules.

It’s been 3 weeks since the last result!
Is Rising Dragon the only one who can ever win against Yoshi?
With a win over 9-1 Darth, Yoshi’s PPG actually rises to a lofty 2.25 for a firm grip on #1.
Darth hangs tough at #4 (or #3 if you don’t count a player with only 2 results so far) as he only loses 1 point for losing to a tier 1 player.Stop taking the Allies, Yoshi, or you’ll ruin my hypothesis that the Axis have a major advantage even with 9 bid!
You got game, man. -

Reminder that I do have a G40 league sheet on here now as well, and it is also up to date.

Deep into the year now, so I updated the ranking #s to include only those with 3 or more 2012 results. Everyone with a league result is listed and ranked by 2012 PPG, but it takes minimum 3 games to be ranked with a # so that players with only 1 or 2 results so far do not skew the rankings.
Yoshi and Tyzoq are currently 1 and 2. Both have perfect records so far.
