    Yea, Italy got their boats because of all the German units that seemed to be immune to French defenses…otherwise, I would have hit SZ 97 as I generally do these days…oh well.

    Yea, I’ll letcha know right now, unless I explicitly state otherwise, if you have OVERWHELMING force, I won’t scramble.  (ie, Aircraft Carrier, Cruiser, Battleship, Destroyer, a couple Submarines and a half dozen planes vs a destroyer and battleship.)

    Ok. If i have any doubt, i’ll wait for orders, but otherwise i will proceed. And i guess if we run into any situation where the oponent would unexpectedly scramble, we’ll easily find something to resolve the issue.

    Yeah, but the downside is: it helps the oponent to look for tactical traps when you suddenly say : "  wait for scrambling orders…".

    Maybe it’s better to stick to the rule and only go for it when it’s extremely obvious that the scramble is a bad decision…
