  • I’ll need scrambling orders for Z39. I intend to take Ceylon by amphibious assault with an attack from all ships and Planes from Z80. That will be 2DD, 1Cru, 1BB, 2Car, 1Fgt, 3Tac.

  • Actually I’m not sure anymore about Ceylon. I think you cannot pass throug a seazone in which a seabattle happens. Since I’d rather take Sumatra if I have to choose I won’t make the attack.


  • You are good, scramble does not occur until after the combat move phase. Nothing blocks you from moving to Sumatra


  • Well theres still a Combat ocurring even if I win bydefault against the transporters or doesn’t that count since they don’t make it a hostile sea zone?
    Anyway I’m sorry Germany 21 will hae to wait till tomorrow since it’s pretty late over here and I want to go to sleep.


  • It does not become a hostile sea zone until after the combat move. At the beginning of conduct combat, thats when the sea zone could become hostile, either way, I am not likely to scramble.


  • I reread the part of the rules that deals with Combat moves and friendly and hostile seazones and I think you are right. I always thought you couldn’t cross through a seazone during combat move and simultaneously attack transports or submarines in the same seazone.
    In that case I’ll probably attack the seazone and take Ceylon but I won’ take te whole fleet so maybe you’ll scramble. I’m starting on Germany 21 now.

  • I read that a tank can’t blitz through a territorry that contains an industrial complex. I don’t remember if it ever occured before in this game or if the rule was changed in the meantime. shall we go ithout this rule or do you wish to redo you move so you don’t bltz through Sukr?


  • I’ll have to look it up, if I can’t, we’ll just have it end in Sukr instead of Nukr blitzing the other way.
