Crap if I read the rules I would not have attacked Amur. Meh. Also the only way to hit subs is with a destroyer present unless the defender wants to fight and in this case I dont so I submerge and you wont collect the Russian bonus. When doing first strikes with subs and no destroyer present the defender fires at the same time as the attacker. They both get the first strike.
